FAQ's
What if I can't make my session?
Don't worry! Just email us before 9am on the day of your session and we will re-arrange your session for you.
If you forget or are more than 20 minutes late for your session, you forfeit your session fee, and your session will be cancelled.
What do I need to bring?
We have a studio full of props, backdrops, toys, wraps, hats, bows, tutus and everything in-between, so don't panic about what to bring with you. Drinks/snacks and baby supplies are a must, bringing the baby helps too! Any special blankets/toys/first outfits that you would like to include in your babies photos, are more than welcome. If in doubt, bring it along.
What if my baby cries the whole photo session?
Sometimes it happens, sometimes they have colic, sometimes, they are just not feeling themselves!
It doesn't happen very often, as we have a range of baby soothing techniques to calm and relax babies, from white noise to lots of cuddles. We always end up with gorgeous photos!
Newborn sessions are never rushed, and we allow plenty of time for soothing, feeding, nappy changing, so don't worry!
What do we wear?
For newborns, outfits don't normally feature too prominently in the photos, they are usually snugly wrapped in a swaddle or nestled in a fluffy blanket!
For the rest of the family, pick comfortable clothes, and try and pick out a colour that runs through everyone's outfit, or a colour theme ie. neutrals. Plain fabrics tend to work better, as patterns can clash or distract from the photo.
What happens after our photo session?
After your photo session, your photos will be edited (takes 7-14 days) and uploaded to a password protected online gallery on our website.
From there, you can view your photos at your leisure over a 7 day period, and when you are ready, let us know if you would like to order anything. You can text or email your order through to us, and each photo has a reference number for ease of ordering.
Payments can be made via bank transfer.
Prints / photo orders take an average of 7-21 days to arrive at the studio ready for collection. Prints will not be ordered until paid in full.
